Personality
Personality is the usual way a person thinks, feels, and behaves that makes them “them.” It is the pattern that makes one person seem calm and another lively, one shy and another outgoing.
What personality means
Personality is what people are talking about when they say someone is kind, moody, talkative, serious, easy‑going, or stubborn. It is the mix of habits, reactions, and attitudes that tends to stay fairly similar over time, even though people can change and grow.
What shapes personality
Personality comes from a mix of things people are born with, our genetic traits (like natural temperament) and life experiences (family, culture, friends, and events). Over years, these shape typical ways of reacting to stress, getting along with others, making decisions, and seeing the world.
