Tracking How You Feel

Picture this. You wake-up every day. But life feels fake. You hide from your real thoughts. Ego blocks what hurts. But you want to change. You seek the true you, you want it all to feel real.

If I keep a record,

Of my current thoughts.

Then I can track my progress,

And that will help my success.

I will see my hills and dips,

As I taste this life with every sip.

I will remember how I got through that day,

And this will help me know my way.

Start a simple habit. Grab a book or pad. Try to draw or write each day. Take just ten minutes to note how you feel.

Sketch your day’s big moods. What makes you glad? What drags you down?

Do this each evening, ideally, once most of the day has been done.

Make it your calm spot. No one will judge you. Let words or lines flow free. You see patterns grow clear. Old fears might come to light.

Remember, though, this needs to be fun, and not a challenge that ends up being avoided. There are many, many ways to creatively express yourself. The key is this:

Every time you express yourself,

A little bit more of the hidden,

authentic and wonderful you.

That you will see, and be.

Over weeks, the trust will build slowly. You will start to see what holds you back, but also, what you have overcome.

Those bad thoughts lose their scary grip and become replaced with good ones.

With each page proving your growth and confidence in you, helping you feel strong and real.

Soon, doubts will fade away. You will start to stand tall, confidently, in your skin. This real you will bring you joy. And with that confidence filling your heart; You know that your growth is true.
