Individuality is what makes one person different from another, like a personal “flavour” or style. It is part of a persons uniqueness.
Reasoning is the mind’s way of thinking things through so it can reach a sensible conclusion. It means using facts or information.
Personality is the usual way a person thinks, feels, and behaves that makes them “them.” It is the pattern that makes a person an individual.
Overwhelm is what happens when there is so much to deal with that it feels like “too much” for the mind or body. It often makes a person feel stressed, flooded, or unable to think clearly and decide what to do next.
Focus is the mind’s ability to stick with one thing on purpose and not get pulled away. It is what lets a person keep their attention on a task, idea, or object long enough to do something useful with it.
A distraction is anything that pulls your mind away from what you mean to be doing. It makes it harder to stay focused, think clearly, or finish a task
The brain is the physical organ; the mind is the set of mental processes that run on it, like software on hardware. The mind is also where a person’s sense of “me” lives, tying together memories, preferences, and personality into a feeling of being the same person over time.
Paying attention is what allows a person to follow a conversation in a noisy room, read a page and remember what it said, or drive a car without missing traffic lights.
Memory is your brain’s way of holding onto information, experiences, and skills so you can use them later. It works like a mental filing system that takes in new details, keeps them safe, and pulls them out when needed.
