The Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) is a self-report measure of positive and negative emotions. It consists of 20 items that ask the respondent to rate how they feel at a given moment on a 5-point scale. The PANAS can be used to assess mood states, emotional reactions, and personality traits.
