An Existential Crisis is a Psychological state in which a person questions their existence and the Meaning of their life. It can be triggered by major life events, such as death, divorce, or illness, or by a sense of dissatisfaction with one’s current situation. An Existential Crisis can cause feelings of Anxiety, Depression, loneliness, and despair, as well as a loss of motivation and identity. However, it can also be an opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery, as one explores their deepest values and beliefs. An Existential Crisis can be resolved by finding a sense of Purpose and direction in life, by engaging in meaningful activities and relationships, by seeking spiritual guidance or Counselling, or by developing a more positive and realistic outlook on life.
